Dog Park (2017)
The Landseer Newfoundland in Dog Park (2017). Total screen time is about 8 seconds, not including the 2-3 seconds slightly earlier in the film in which part of the dog can be seen lying on the ground, mostly obscured by the park bench upon which the main character is sitting.
In what must surely be a gesture of self-referential irony, one of the characters in this movie says, early in the film, "there's nothing worse than those boring romance movies." Yet that is precisely what this film is. Though personally it strikes me more as a failed attempt at a movie. The premise is trite and clichéd, the script weak and predictable, and the acting is almost uniformly dismal. A real "dog" of a movie.... (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
