Joe Halko (1940 - 2009) was an American sculptor who specialized in animal and wildlife subjects of the American West.
This statue of Seaman, the Newfoundland who accompanied the Lewis and Clark expedition, is located at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, Montana, which is also home to a statue grouping honoring Lewis and Clark — and Seaman. Check it out here at The Cultured Newf.
