This Newfoundland statue keeps watch outside the entrance to the Veterinary Hospital at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
From what I have read online, the statue was the gift of a veterinarian who attended NCSU Veterinary School and donated the statue in honor of a beloved Newfoundland named Hannah.
I have not yet been able to find any information regarding the sculptor or date of creation of this work.
